the day can seem so long
whispers on the wind tell me I'm lonely
I hear the chatter and dismiss its winsome thoughts
entertaining thoughts of personal nature
a shared moment
perhaps just a look
and I would know you were feeling me
caress the idea and bring it forth
may it come to fruition
in the light of day I blush to be feeling such a way
it makes me uneasy
so I push the thoughts down deep
where they drive me mad
I can feel your caress
soft as a breeze
just barely a touch would be too much
and I would cascade over the falls
tumbling into your arms
a hint of naughty and you would know
I was yours

When I think, I sit alone,
When I lose my dreams to flow;
When I suffer from lamentation, the pain of despair follows,
When all this day goes by leaves me alone,
When silence reigns in my fixed residence,
When all my pain plunges me into the abyss of failure,
When a joke doesn't make me laugh anymore,
I feel your fingers touch my sore edge
Sponge my tears before they roll down my freckled face
Hold my hand before I drop the nib that writes on a blank page.
You are my soulmate, you are my hope
You are my friend who lifts me up from the depths of despair,
It helps me to breathe in the needed air in tired lungs;
May it be today, yes today, I found my longtime friend and twin hiding on this page.💕 💕 💕 💕

I feel you... crimsin. 😉 I feel what you are saying in the poem anyhow. I feel what you are saying to me. I don't know what you're feeling because I'm not you but getting to my point, this reads of taking a chance & trusting our instincts to take that chance & ask... could this lead to love? Most likely, it will only lead to lunch, right? But hey, that's ok! 😊
