Eclipse Of Love

I was getting ready for the moon's eclipse.
And I even put on my moonlight red dress.
Then,I wondered where you are.

Because you promised to come watch it with me.
The moon shines at its brightest as  I wait.
The moon shines brighter and you are late.

You told me you had something to do.
And you told me you love me.
You told me you didn't mean to come late.

So I forgived you,because love was our fate.
To me,your love was a blissful miracle from the midnight sky.
I told you I love you,and you didn't even ask why.

Because you already understood.
And overtime you told me you love me back.
Those words made my heart flutter.

And I immediately started to stutter,with a blushing face.
And I knew you are the one when my heart quickened its pace.
From the day we met,I knew I loved you.

And I could see you loved me too.
So I protected our love,the most i can do.
For you to love me,I can be anything.

You can be the flower and I can be a bee.
To you,I can be anything you want me to be.
I would even change myself for you to like me.

Because you gave me love and memories I cannot forget.
I collected the hearts you gave me as I told my story.
And my collection built up overtime.

But I knew you loved me just the way I am.
And I feel like my true self in your presence.
Now I know who I actually am.
