wasn’t all about fighting

 
 
his contemplative poems  
were his best stuff for  
me,  
I like to imagine him sitting at his desk, with the rhythm of the trains  
outside his room  
running slowly  
at night  
through his head  
and whichever poem  
at the time  
he was  
writing
