Mushy

The curious case
Of a pea
In a pea green hat
And an encounter
With a pod
Full of black-eyed peas, and that

And the butterfly
With moth-eaten knickers
A fly in butter?
Was the sort of insect
That would boast
About her modesty, then utter...

Then one day in never world
The green hatted pea
And the butterfly, with buttery knees
Met
Absolutely nothing happened
The black-eyed peas
Meanwhile
Partied in a pod
With knobbly kneed fleas
They all died
From pod pea disease
After they got to mushy!
