Eternity

The last sunlight sliced through the forest sky.
Immortality burned in the haunted shadows
of his masterful eyes.
He wanted to suck a malt of innocence
from her veins.
He lurked the failing light lusting to inflict his sweet dark pain.
It was her sanity and soul he longed to reign.
Easy for her to be drunk on the dark desire of eternity.
Hoping pain and the unspoken horrors in the unlit mind would cease to be alive.
Yet eternal may last our truths we would
like to hide.
A new realm, where the heights of bliss
come from the kill.
His bite, like a deep pierce into an apple's supple skin,
was a dark euphoric infection of her will.
Her feeble prayer to end her mediocre mortality.
Had been heard.

Her scarlet blood drops fell to the dank forest floor.
Would she drink infinity from his butchered vein?
