Backstreet "Study of a Nightclub"
Music was wild,
Debauchery abound.
Seeing hearing nothing,
The horses circled round.
Dance floor was a riot
Of gyrating bodies, sound.
Seeing, hearing nothing,
The horses circled round.
Bar was insolent, surly,
In derision dissonance found.
Seeing, hearing nothing,
The horses circled round.
A calliope of clamor
Blending color, riot, sound.
Blinded and un-hearing,
The horses circled round.
Unaware of life surrounding.
Animated only by the sound.
Tenant-less, numb, un-feeling
The horses circled round.
Debauchery abound.
Seeing hearing nothing,
The horses circled round.
Dance floor was a riot
Of gyrating bodies, sound.
Seeing, hearing nothing,
The horses circled round.
Bar was insolent, surly,
In derision dissonance found.
Seeing, hearing nothing,
The horses circled round.
A calliope of clamor
Blending color, riot, sound.
Blinded and un-hearing,
The horses circled round.
Unaware of life surrounding.
Animated only by the sound.
Tenant-less, numb, un-feeling
The horses circled round.
