You think it necessary to lie to me
For how could I love you
Possibly
Understand how one could think a debt
Ever present
Never to be paid in full...
For I showed you
A piece of the world
At the time
It was a universe
The guilt is but a testament
To human loyalty
That you should owe fealty
To a dying breed
Lay bred to thee
YOU DO NOT NEED
(them of the cosmos, ignorant)
Owe them a single shielding
Nor love
You do not exist to correct their sins
You exist
To avoid
Them
Love and hate
Beginnings
Apart
Yes
We are human
But
We are gods
Together
We are game makers
Betting on odds
