I finally see the obvious truth
Damn, how it makes me wish that I was blind
You know what they say about poking around for proof
You’re more than likely not going to like the things you’re bound to find
That hits the nail right on the head for me
As I continue to stomach all the fictions that I uncover about you
How very far from the truth I’ve been all this time
For thinking you were down for me, that your word was trustworthy and true
The reality is , you’re just another snake in the grass
A wolf in sheep’s clothing , playing the role to get what you need
Never once considering that I too am a human with feelings
But you can’t see past your own selfishness and greed
All that I’ve given up for you
The hits I’ve taken just to try and make this relationship work
All in vain cuz it don’t mean a goddamn thing to you
You still disrespect me , sneaking around, betraying me, doing your dirt
How fucken sad for me to learn of all your disloyalties
While I foolishly loved and protected you.. even lied for you to prevent tarnish to your name
You found me at a time when I was broken down and drained of all hope
You built me up to only tear me back down, how cruel
My heart will never trust the same again
How can you lie on me and speak bad on my name
But live under my roof , living off of my dime
Playing house, saying you love me too
When speaking of users and abusers just know that you’re the worst mother fucken kind
