You might never be OK

When I was young, I lived, across from the sea
It was so nice, everyday, in the sun
Plenty of friends, we would play, in the streets
Life was so simple, having fun, when I was young

(Chorus)
Where did you go? Why did you leave us?
I know it's not your fault you had to go away
Now I'm in pieces, look in the mirror
Talk to myself, say you might never be ok
<8 bars music>
I fell In love, with a girl, so unique
She was the one, who was sent, from above
She tried to teach me, how to live, but I couldn't see
I had it all, 'till this life, took her from me

Where did you go? Why did you leave us?
I know it's not your fault, you had to go away
Now I'm much older, look in the mirror
Talk to myself, say you might never be ok

Happiness was all she cared about
While my stubbornness would not let me learn
She would tell me appreciate time we have together
Like she knew she wasn't long for this world

How are you doing? I'm glad you're better
My lifes been harder since you had to go away
but I learned your lessons, I know what love is
because of you, I think I'm gonna be ok
yeah I learned your lessons, I know what love is
because of you, I know I'm gonna be ok
