Mt. Olympus
Emerald green statuesque pines,
are silent untouched guardians,
of a sprawling beauty that pales divine.
Gathered at the base of the majestic,
snow-crusted mountain backs.
A land crisp, fresh, grand and wild.
Attack my heart with pleasure.
Nature's unscathed treasure.
It is here I feel my deepest truths
echo in the pristine noble silence.
Strong grace of snowy peaks that perfectly stun and soothe.
In the face of such beauty, my existence makes
solid sense.

Gathered at the base of the majestic,

A land crisp, fresh, grand and wild.
Attack my heart with pleasure.
Nature's unscathed treasure.

Strong grace of snowy peaks that perfectly stun and soothe.
In the face of such beauty, my existence makes
solid sense.

A wonderful poem to wake up to with a steaming cup of coffee. Very creative, you are.

Re: Re. Mt. Olympus
Thank you. I've never been there, but my brother has and sent me a pic of the mountain range.
I'm so glad I enjoyed it.
If I lived near mountains, that's all I'd ever write about, lol

Let's hope this natural beauty you have described so well, reigns long. Enjoy it while it lasts because I believe/fear climate change will eventually wreck all we have known & then there's the food shortages! Yes, it's a glimpse into a bleak future. These are not my words but those of experts. 😟

Yes I worry about the beauty I have seen in Alaska, the glaciers melting. I know climate change is very very real.

I like the whole "feel" that you put into this. It's like one of those intangible things that you can't quite define, other than you're passionate about it, and it must come from the heart. The aesthetics of language almost take me away to the scenic escape. Anyway, thanks for sharing. I always enjoy reading your stuff.

Thank you very much. My heart def belongs to mountains, the first time I went to visit my sister who lives in Alaska, I could not take my eyes of the mountains. I always enjoy when you comment.
