Image for the poem of painterly skies

of painterly skies

a lyric mirror 48©

whose brushstrokes paint the skies
indigo, orange, red,
and rembrandt silhouettes?
kandinsky knew no inks
so robustly in sync
nor monet such vignettes
as when soft blood is bled
and only sorrow dies.
