A New Home
I watched as he put the rib roast on the grill
And I watched, tic tic tic
Dam that rib is going add to the thrill
So I watched, tic tic tic
I watched as he added the other meats to the feast
Chicken, ribs, burgers, and hotdogs for a treat
The chops that he added were trimmed and thick
And I watched everything, tic tic tic
I watched as the potato and macaroni salads came out
The bean and garden salads, with roasted brussel sprouts
I watched as the kids were stuffed with that burgers and dogs trick
And I still watched, tic tic tic
I watched as the drinks were served and the music turnt up
I watched as the line dances were performed and the rib roast was finally cut
I complimented the cook while cutting through a slice super thick
And still I watched, tic tic tic
I watched as voices started to slur and eyes started to droop
I watched as others gathered their things and began moving out like troops
Some wanted more of this or that, and were told they could have their pick
And yet I watched, tic tic tic
Soon all the other guest had left for home
And most of the family had went inside the house that I had decided to make my new home
After snatching up the grilling utensil, a long ass fork and a butcher's knife from a block
I should be eating rib roast after cleaning my new house in about two hours, tic tic toc
And I watched, tic tic tic
Dam that rib is going add to the thrill
So I watched, tic tic tic
I watched as he added the other meats to the feast
