safe space

i think,
you’re my safe space
i fall asleep
don’t care if we’re sick
teasing, dreaming.

i swear,
on sunday you kissed me
kissed me on the head
while watching tv
i froze, shivered,
unexpected love
or daydreaming?

i can tell,
by falling asleep on your chest
with a traumatized mind
shutting down, resting,
that i found the love i deserve
in the body
of the girl i met
years ago
and learn to love
everyday.

cut off stanzas, confusing verses
displaying the misty insights of my understanding tonight
i‘m hoping for the night to clear up soon
