Syllogism

I blaze across your beam
A smoking crooked dye,
A gamble in a scene
A slithering snake up your iris

I'm a beast with an appetite
And a canine enjoys his bones,
Why can't we have it all again
In a different life in different tones

In swamps across I swoon
Between all the bruises,
A consequential boon
Immune to all their excuses

I'm a lesson in dynamics
Acute with the present tense,
Your polyrythmic labyrinth
Creeping stray in the shadows of your conscience

I crave your rain pageant
A face unworthy, closed
A taste of your acid
Different life, different tones.
