Watchful pair
The moon twists up on high
she looks down and watches
in swatches of blues,
the hues of which I've never seen,
I've never been
without her eyes
in my skies
that slicing glare,
kills me dead
in a puddle of dreams
a shallow ground
she drowns me
all the while
that slicing smile
lops off my head
she looks down and watches
in swatches of blues,
the hues of which I've never seen,
I've never been
without her eyes
in my skies
that slicing glare,
kills me dead
in a puddle of dreams
a shallow ground
she drowns me
all the while
that slicing smile
lops off my head
