Bittersweet

Why must all my loves be lessons learned,
With heartache and scars in their wake?
Why does love's path often feel so spurned,
Leaving me longing for a different take?

Each love brings wisdom, bittersweet,
A tapestry of joy and pain entwined,
Through trials endured and memories fleet,
Lessons emerge, leaving no heart blind.

For in the crucible of love's embrace,
We find ourselves tested and refined,
Unveiling layers, our vulnerabilities trace,
As growth emerges, the heart redefined.

Though the journey may be marked with strife,
Each love, a chapter, a chance to grow,
Through the tumult, we forge a stronger life,
Learning to love more deeply, to let go.

So, let not the lessons dim your fire,
For with each love, your spirit gains,
Wisdom and strength, forged from desire,
Creating a tapestry where resilience reigns.

Embrace the lessons, cherish the pain,
For they shape the person you're meant to be,
In the intricate dance of love's refrain,
Discovering love's truest melody.
