Shattered
Gotta heart that turns to glass
With the fear of being alone
Call you up, you turn into an ass
Your words all turn to stone
Little glass shards all over the floor
Stuck in a house of windows without any doors
Scattered
Shattered
Don't get cut
Save yourself
I tell myself...
But...
How do I let someone in
When my hearts defenses are this thin
Why do you hurt me everytime you speak
Why do I find myself always this weak
Little glass shards all glued together
Placed behind walls perhaps forever
Protected
Neglected
Safe from the sun
Save yourself
I tell myself...
Run...
And it's all because of you
No one can break through
Or is it all because of me
No one can see
My little glass heart all locked away
Behind more walls
It's here to stay
My little glass heart all covered in dust
With a great big lock that has turned to rust
With the fear of being alone
Call you up, you turn into an ass
Your words all turn to stone
Little glass shards all over the floor
Stuck in a house of windows without any doors
Scattered
Shattered
Don't get cut
Save yourself
I tell myself...
But...
How do I let someone in
When my hearts defenses are this thin
Why do you hurt me everytime you speak
Why do I find myself always this weak
Little glass shards all glued together
Placed behind walls perhaps forever
Protected
Neglected
Safe from the sun
Save yourself
I tell myself...
Run...
And it's all because of you
No one can break through
Or is it all because of me
No one can see
My little glass heart all locked away
Behind more walls
It's here to stay
My little glass heart all covered in dust
With a great big lock that has turned to rust
