I just hate that. Then I usually end up taking off my heels and get to hear “oh, you look so vulnerable and cute…” Definitely not the look I was going for. Grrrrr.

Oh fuck, you just… no… not that… if you trigger my imposter syndrome spiral I’m going to sit here calm and carefree on the outside, and claw my own eyes out on the inside. And then get very, very drunk and text my exes. It’s just all bad.

We get so good at masking that people forget. Or don’t think it’s real. Or discount it as not a big deal.

And it’s a big deal, every minute of every day.
