The sea drags back her tide
as the fire gold sun descends
on your amethyst eyes.
You were the ebb
always receding into oblivion
I was the flow.
Immersed in your parallel world
opposites attracting a twilight's cotillion
silencing typhoons among opinions.
Where the horizon meets the sapphire sea
beneath a turquoise sky
in dreams of obsidian antiquity.
