Hypocrisy
I've been left here with my own thoughts
No regards taken of my mental state
My fuel's run out, I'm at the last drop
They try to purge me of rage and hate.
-
No one bothers to ask the question
They'd rather believe in their own presumption
Can no one hear me crying out loud?
Oops, it seems like my sanity has run out.
-
I can't stand this hypocrisy
It's chocking the life out of me
Your touch burns instead of heal
The illusions blend with what's real.
-
It's getting harder and longer
These treatment sessions that don't work
Yet the pills are still shoved down my throat
A weakened body as an anchor for my ghost.
-
My mind's not a place you want to be in
I can barely stomach it myself
Come read the preview of my earthly sins
And see the daily struggle of living in this hell.
-
No one bothers to see the obvious
They feign concern for a non-existent audience
Can no one see me taking a stand?
I've torn off the rusted shackles of command.
-
I can't stand this hypocrisy
Its chocking the life out of me
Your touch burns and peels off my skin
Leaving exposed what I hide within.
-
It's getting longer and harder
To prove to myself my self-worth
These pills I'm supposed to take for life
You can shove them up your …; I'm here for the long fight!
