The Rat that thinks he's a Dove

Leave no man behind,
Shoulder the dead if you must,
No Judas act of betrayal,
One for all, All for one.

But there, indeed, you left me,
Vultures circling above,
I hope you choke on the silver,
The Rat that thinks he’s a Dove.

I didn’t recognise you in the end,
A stranger pecked my cheek,
Shrouded in cloak of ego,
Forked tongue licked my feet.

Leave no man behind,
Shoulder the dead if you must,
No Judas act of betrayal,
One for all, All for one.

Verse Lyric:
Catch you in the act, there will be no forgiveness,
Spitting in the soup is a disgusting business,
Build it on your own.

You would gladly watch the whole world burn,
Light the fuse , strike the match, it’s none of your concern,
who lives and who dies.

Everybody loves the shooting star,
Your Judas heart sets you apart,
sold me for thirty silver bullets in the heart.

Ever hear of “ leave no man behind”?
I would not desert you, Brothers in arms,
Greedy, selfish, cold heart.

Bring back the future, pull forward the past,
time waits for no man, time will heal us all.
