i want to tell you

i want to tell you how i've missed your voice
  how it lulled me to sleep and gave me a choice

i want to tell you how i've written poem after poem
  chased your eyes in every line i write

i want to tell you that for once joy inst found in distraction
 its found in the spaces between each night

i want to tell you that i will find a way to mend the past
   for decisions made are now in my voice
