that love in your touch
You weren't supposed to want me
You weren't supposed to look at me
With eyes filling with everything you can't say
You've always sucked with words for me
You truly can't seem to say it out loud
But the moment you pulled me close
Your face inches from mine I knew
That you loved me still and always will
Hand gently in my hair and tracing my skin
Physical touch... It's all that you have for me
Laying upon me your face in that holy space
Where neck meets shoulder and you breathe in
Stealing my soul with a single deep inhale
And all I can do is lay there stunned at it all
The feeling of your lips brushing my neck
And you laying your head onto my chest
The stillness of you just holding me gently
Theres a trueness to honest loving touch
Nothing demanding and given earnestly
You weren't supposed to look at me
With eyes filling with everything you can't say
You've always sucked with words for me
You truly can't seem to say it out loud
But the moment you pulled me close
Your face inches from mine I knew
That you loved me still and always will
Hand gently in my hair and tracing my skin
Physical touch... It's all that you have for me
Laying upon me your face in that holy space
Where neck meets shoulder and you breathe in
Stealing my soul with a single deep inhale
And all I can do is lay there stunned at it all
The feeling of your lips brushing my neck
And you laying your head onto my chest
The stillness of you just holding me gently
Theres a trueness to honest loving touch
Nothing demanding and given earnestly
