Taxi Stand

In the pouring rain, parked by the building's side,
I sat in a taxi, where waters collide.
Roof's runoff splashed wide, keeping others at bay,
As the driver stood out, drenched in the tempest's sway.

I closed the cab's doors, seeking shelter inside,
When a stranger appeared, sitting by my side.
Her lips met with mine in a kiss so profound,
An anticipated surprise, emotions unbound.

A masterpiece of taste, a world of sensations,
In that fleeting moment, love's sweet revelations.
Rain's symphony hushed, or perhaps overwhelmed,
As our lips intertwined, a story ungelled.

I heard the peel of our mouths, an ethereal sound,
Our kiss, a breathtaking melody unbound.
For an eternity, its echoes did endure,
Never tiring my senses, forever pure.

My heart pounded fast, trembling with its might,
The car seemed to shudder, engulfed in its flight.
But it was the rain that ceased, the driver's retreat,
A pause in the storm, a moment's heartbeat.

In that vivid interlude, rain's tale did unfold,
A kiss shared in secret, an experience untold.
Now, forever etched, in memory's embrace,
A whispered tale of passion, within that sacred space.
