Seasons

Spring:

Flowers bloom like our love,
And we are together so happily.
Against all cruel rumors, we rise above,
To be touching one another oh so tenderly.

The torrential rains only make me love you more,
As we snuggle before the window watching the rain.
Your love falls upon me, like a wave upon the beach shore,
And with that new water, it washes away all previous pain.

Summer;

The heat rose between us like embers,
As finally we indulged in our passionate ways.
I feel that not even the chill of December,
Could ever chill this heat away.

You held my naked body so near,
Called me so many kind names.
The heat of your body washed away my fear,
Your tender voice cleaned me of my shame.

Autumn;

The chill has brought a tremor in our relationship,
As your eyes seem to wander away from me.
What did I ever do to deserve this?
Am I not what you always wanted me to be?

You no longer seem to focus on me alone,
And you're avoiding me more often it seems.
All those passionate emotions you've not shown,
When those emotions were all I need.

Winter;

You were in bed with her underneath you,
And you stopped only to look at me as I entered.
This betrayal, I should've known it's what you'd do,
Even though my own love has not faltered.

You didn't chase me out into the snow,
You never called me again and never sought me out.
This horrible pain, I just wish I would know,
Next time you plan to leave me in a drought.
