One footstep

I will lay down and rest for a while although I will note in my mind the sun is shining. Its rays touch my face with a warmth that reminds me that not everything is ice and cold . I almost feel the strokes of
loving and kindness and my mothers face materialises it jogs my memory of the authenticity of an unconditional love and I fight hard to stop the tears rolling down my cheeks.  I need to see and I do not one cloud in the sky but birds soaring In the truest cerulean blue I have ever had  the privilege to take in . It’s a reminder of feeling free . Colours in nature are the gifts given with no dollar signs how can you not be grateful for that . Touching the grass to feel the dew after it slept underneath a blanket of stars . Refreshed and refuelled ready for barefoot feet that takes that one step out of being ten ahead or ten behind but anchored in now . And that’s me sipping life like chameleon tea and just appreciating the taste and everything else can wait .
