First Tonka

Oh mighty dump!
Oh mighty dump!

You dump so well and grand!

A brilliant yellow
and made of steel
for rolling over sand.

You're quite a sight
in yard or box;
you never get a flat.

You dump on this...
you dump on that...
your wheels are really fat.

A dump right here,
a dump right there,
a pile hither and yon!

A yellow truck
with bolts of steel
will entertain till dawn!

To little boys you're just the thing
for loads and loads of mirth,
for little boys will always mix
construction trucks and Earth!
