Fire and Desire
As the night went on, they grew closer and closer,
And he felt a connection between them that he had never known before,
She was the woman with fire in her heart,
And he was the man who was drawn to her from the start.
He looked into her eyes, and saw a spark of desire,
And felt his heart race with a burning fire,
He knew then that she was the one,
The woman who would light up his life, like the sun.
They talked for hours, sharing their stories,
And he felt his heart fill with warmth, like a summer's morning,
She told him of her dreams and her fears,
And he listened intently, as her words reached his ears.
He could see the feistiness in her, the strength and the power,
But also the gentleness and the love that she showered,
He knew then that there was much more to her than what met the eye,
And he felt his heart overflow, like a river that ran high.
As the night turned to dawn, they held each other close,
And whispered sweet nothings, like a song that arose,
He promised to love her, through thick and thin,
And to be her rock, through the storm that lay within.
But as the sun began to rise, he felt a sense of unease,
A fear in his heart, like a storm that could not be eased,
For he knew that there were secrets that she held deep within,
Secrets that he was yet to unravel, like a knot that could not be untwined.
He wondered what lay ahead, what the future had in store,
Whether their love would stand the test of time, or crumble to the floor,
He knew that the journey ahead wouldn't be an easy one,
And he wondered if their love, would be able to overcome.
And so they parted ways, but not without a promise,
To keep their love strong, and never let it diminish,
To embrace the uncertainties that lay ahead,
And to cherish every moment, like a memory that never fades.
For he knew that she was the one, the woman with fire in her heart,
And he was the man who would stand by her side, from the very start,
Together they would conquer, and embrace the night,
And love each other, with all of their might.
And he felt a connection between them that he had never known before,
