Twilight dreams arabesque

I appreciate that. The length or shortness of a poem means nothing to me. I write for myself and my muse who resides in my soul and heart.

Honestly, there's something clean and tidy about short poems. They can be powerful, simply because they're succinct.

I have no desire to be a Pulitzer and write for my own amusement. It helps if someone comments, but I just scribble and let the words lead me.

Yeah, and that's not a bad approach. Poetry can be healing, in some ways. It's good to just express emotion and heart, and not have to worry about being a Pulitzer poet.
