Hell and Peace II
Dear psychosis, your unending season
is now the winter of MY discontent!
Lowly your voice howls within
the wintry confines of my mind.
Thickly your veil covers my eyes
and I feel a coexistence between
Hell and peace. But what is reality?
The once-lived serenity of my beach
is beaten by waves of molten anxiety –
volcanic bursts of unease and defeat,
but I must face my pain and fears, now.
So, I dip my foot in, allowing myself
to be consumed with the fiery embrace
of Hell, and the veiled serenity of peace.
