Chaotically chosen

Slumber slips into the light.
A constant shade of blue!
I wonder if I've done enough
To be enriched by you.

Steady is the pulse of life...
Trembling hands and feet...
Cotton candy lips invite...
The sweeter things I seek.

And in this state of mind I lye...
Alone and out of breath.
I think of times when I was young
Believing I knew best.

By now, for sure, I'd have a plan...
At least, or so I thought.
Presently I sit amongst...
A thousand things I'm not.

Chaotically chosen...
To be what we are!
Randomly opened...
Bearing these scars...

Masterfully made of...
What we can't see...
All that I'm after...
Is running from me.

So I keep with these rhythms...
Wrestling around!
Beautiful stanzas...
Keep writing 'em down.
