tis nothing but a memory
your lips touch mine,
I feel your arm's wrap around me.
i touch your face and feel your tears.
tis nothing but a memory.
you hold me close and whisper in my ear.
we will be togther again.
tis nothing but a memory.
my gown is simple and white,
it hugs all the curves of my body.
the wind catches it and blows it out behind me,
I cling to you for comfort.
tis nothing but a memory.
you kiss me again before,
they come and bind my hands.
you profess your love to me,
all the while knowing my fate.
they bind me to a pole,
torches lighting the wood all around me.
tis nothing but a memory.
i feel the heat as it draws ever nearer,
the smoke burns my eyes and throat.
I pray to the goddess,
that she reunites us in another life.
I feel the pain from the fire,
I look out to see your face one last time.
your not there for me
to say goodbye to one last time.
I feel tears pour down my face
as I give into death finally.
Tis nothing but a memory.
I feel your arm's wrap around me.
i touch your face and feel your tears.
tis nothing but a memory.
you hold me close and whisper in my ear.
we will be togther again.
tis nothing but a memory.
