My Crevassed Heart for You
My crevassed heart kept glued
with shards of sweet-talk bullshit.
This crack in my heart divided suddenly,
further parting, webbing across my soul.
Love composed of a glued heart –
shards of such a bond – so fragile.
Concluding as a canyon, both halves of
our once-shared soul parted forever.
This glue of my bullshit sweet lies
kept our broken relationship together!
