Mind's Nature
Mind's nature is so demented.
Eyes label, control perception.
Lies cater a false conception.
Guise, greater than mull, suggestion.
Sly savor sets tone, inflection.
Rife traitors, remote intentions.
Pride, major, exalts deception.
High wager then falls, relentless.
Find hatefulness, fault with brethren.
Tried anger results in death, sin.
Hide, shameful, alone, dependent.
Die, aching, or hope, repentant.
Rise, faithful, postpone descension.
Christ came for us all, unleavened.
Kind, careful console caresses.
Life, grateful, atoned, amended.
My favorite hope, dimension.
Shine, Savior, and show ascension.
Skies cradle your soul, attention.
Time, angels bestow the heavens.
Like neighbors have homes, affection.
Signs, stable, install protection.
By prayerful condone, perfection.
Strive, straying no more from senses.

Author's Note
This is mostly about the mind without Christ, and some of the conflict that can come with it. The Greek word "hypocrite" literally means "actor," and that's what's represented by the lies and "guise" in the first line. The second line perpetuates what happens with this "guise" or "mask" that tries t hide the sin underneath. A person feels liberated in pointing the finger to blame, but underneath, they're bitter and spiteful. The lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh, and the pride of life is exemplified in the first three lines. The result is obviously death (the wage of sin is death.) until one is forgiven and shown the pathway of salvation. There is certainly beauty and hope, once there is forgiveness.
