Time travel is but like turning a page - NaPoWriMo2023 #21
I have found that
I can time travel.
I don't need
a police phone box;
the doctor is Who
is their name.
Or a DeLorean;
with capacity for flux
and other changes.
Or a phone box;
totally excellent
in its normality.
I only need a book
to be able to time travel.
When engrossed within those leaves
time moves by a thousand acres,
as I am transported
to another plane,
while the mind's eye
plays out pictures
summoned by words.
