Seductress Spider

Gracefully, she slides on silk,
An acrobat of subtle skill.
Swinging on her crystal rope,
She searches for a mate to kill.

Centered in her shining web,
That emblem of the wheel of fate.
Suspended by a single thread,
She spies the victim she will mate.

Swiftly, she surrounds her prey,
Wrapping him in satin sheets.
Salivating, she smells his blood,
His sublime ecstasy of defeat.

Salaciously, she sucks and stings.
He struggles, but must submit.
Ravishing him in a mating dance,
He can't resist her love's pit.

Smirking, she devours his essence,
As his frantic death throes subside.
Sinister with a venomous kiss,
She finishes him until completely satisfied.
