Lately
i’ve been thinking about why sometimes
i feel
sick of home
and
homesick for places I’ve never been to
or yet arrived at
It’s like a dull ache embedded
a microchipped celestial GPS
DNA not of this planet
Dreams from an alternate
Parallel dimensional universe
This past, my past present & future
during a lucid black backdrop dream
i saw a plethora of bright
& not so bright stars
(from afar, far away I guess some could have been planets)
an acute ache one gets
right before taking medication
enveloped my aura and soul
I must still be homesick
for those places
i’ve not yet called home

It was actually an ex who plays chess (casually only) who said i should watch, Queen's Gambit.
