The Power of Letting Go
To the one who threw me away,
I have a message for you today.
Thank you for leaving me behind,
For in the end, I learned to shine.
Your silence was painful, I won't lie,
But it helped me learn to say goodbye.
I shed the weight of your deceit,
And found the strength to find my feet.
Through the pain, self-love grew,
As I let go of your toxic view.
I learned to stand on my own,
And found a power I'd never known.
Thank you for walking away,
I am stronger for it today.
I'll take the lessons and the growth,
And continue to love and nurture both.
The power of self-love and care,
And the beauty of letting go
I'll move forward with my life,
And leave behind all the strife.

Thank you for walking away, for in the end, I found my way. Your deceit and silence were painful, but they helped me shed the weight of your toxic reign. I learned to stand on my own and found a power I'd never known. Self-love grew from the pain, and I am stronger for it today. As I move forward with my life, I take the lessons and the growth and continue to love and nurture both the power of self-love and the beauty of letting go

I love this poem of realizing your self worth. One cannot live and love fully until one fully loves themselves. From my hear to yours.

This should really be the rallying cry for one and all! This write made me feel relieved, hopeful, content, and all things good. There is nothing like the realization of lifted toxic weight. I especially admire the kind way in which you came to this realization and the letting go of that person without malice. Their problems are inherently larger than anything we’ll ever know. Thank god! Wonderfully uplifting write!
