Wife's slumber

Went hometown and came
because friend's mother died
Dad could not even walk
with mother also
went to her father grave
and came
till the night was deep
a wife laughed
while watching entertainment show
mini-series
turned off the lights
closed eyes
started crying and saying
"went to see father
didn't talk,
didn't laugh,
didn't get angry"
she blows her nose
weeps and whispers again
"if I had four thousand dollars,
had hope to live...
why I didn't give
