Image for the poem Giraffes

Giraffes' Tears

Giraffes' tears
are diamonds dripping
of the sky floating in the air
from their clouded eyes.

wash the irises
like rivers of lust and
hide in the eyelashes
long and curved.

When giraffes cry
the eyes look like
peacocks with their fans
decorated with gems.

Giraffes' tears
are whispers that
fall on our heads
like divine blessings...

Giraffes are goddesses
that without warning
came off the walls
of paleolithic caves...

When giraffes cry
it's pure pity for
what they heard
the clouds talking.
