I believe in objective truth
whatever happened, happened,
however you think of it now
you may consider it of less importance than you did at the time
distorts memories
but truth remains, even now ..

Hmmm, truth requires a very big frame of reference, and we humans get just a smidgeon of it, usually interpreted via our subjective experience. Nevertheless I did manage to slam my thumb in the van door a couple of weeks ago and now the nail is black. :))
