Problem is, even massive protests and strikes, (viz France right now) with a million+ on the streets, make no difference. Macron has just sidestepped due process by using "emergency powers". It's going to take a general strike for months to even make a slight change in the balance of power. Or a continuous tax-revolt - but whatever, it will have to be mega.
