Only In My Head

Only in my head
darkness will fall.
All of the bad in the world
will disappear forever,
consumed by light,
going back down that hole it came through.
But only in my head
darkness will fall.

I think
that it is unfair
to all of the children,
to all of the people,
to see how cruel the world can really be.
I think
that it is wrong
to just go around,
killing your own,
for no reason.
I think
that it is stupid
to think that it is everyone else's fault
and that's why you are mad
when it was only your fault.

All this darkness
has taken the Human Race's hearts,
painting them black,
filling our veins with hate instead of blood,
taken the common sense out of our brains,
putting hurtful words into our voices instead of ones filled with love.
What has happened to all of us?
Can all we do is hate?
Can we not all get along?
All of the darkness
has scared away the light,
the light God has given us...

Only in my head
darkness will fall.

and the good in the world will make it's appearance again,
erasing the paint on our hearts,
taking out the hate in our veins,
making our brains think once again,
filling our voices with love which will fix the wrong we have done.
