Heaven Or Hell
Heaven is being able to talk to you everyday,
While the Hell in that is not hearing the sound of your voice.
Heaven is when you say good night so sweetly,
Hell is when I turn over in my bed and you're not there.
Heaven being that loving place in the space between your arms,
Hell is not being able to feel such a hold or touch.
Heaven is laugh you forever hide guilty and when you dream in fiction,
Hell is waking up in a nightmare where nothing is real anymore.
Heaven is when you tell me it's okay to feel the silly things I do,
Hell is how you can't see the smile you bring to my face.
Heaven is in the ability to think back and remember what you were wearing when we met,
Hell being the fact that some one brutally stripped you out of them.
Heaven is being poisoned by your love,
Hell is not giving you the cure on my sleeve.
Darling I do, yes I do, how tragically I love you.
And I can't get enough my dear, enough of your stare.
If I told you what I wanted I think you'd blush,
Say I need help because I do;
I need help because I'm crazy in love.
Just to see you I'd walk a thousand miles.
For a kiss I'd walk over fields of boiling water.
And it was for you I let the truth out.
It was you that snapped me up in shape.
You were the one who gave me sick romantic thoughts.
It was your eyes I fell for in the beginning,
The small of your back that peeked at me;
Your smile that lit up the whole room.
Heaven is knowing you're mine,
For you're the one that almost got away.
While the Hell in that is not hearing the sound of your voice.
Heaven is when you say good night so sweetly,
Hell is when I turn over in my bed and you're not there.
Heaven being that loving place in the space between your arms,
Hell is not being able to feel such a hold or touch.
