Splinter, I Remember
As the trees wear short sleeves
of nature's best, as a forest grows
carrying me across the meadows
with a splinter, I can remember
just in time the waves of Autumn
interpreting the landscape
and charming the acorns
sketching a sky of a falling leaf
watching Harlequins dance
in arabesque with butterflies
As the trees wear short sleeves
of nature's best, as a forest grows
carrying me across the meadows
with a splinter, I can remember
just in time the waves of Autumn
interpreting the landscape
and charming the acorns
sketching a sky of a falling leaf
watching Harlequins dance
in arabesque with butterflies
As the trees wear short sleeves
