Splayed

and the conformist  
The intimacy  
Of an impulsive fellowship  
United in variance  
The sharing of wisdom  
with tempered  
melodious pining  
entwining their life lore  
to master patience  
as the ancients  
chisel unvarying oath into their spirits  
Complexities  
adapting the mystery  
Of the history  
of sellers  
binding his wares in halos  
Forging ahead  
with the capacity  
to be refined in life; 
majestic in death  
Well-versed and flourishing  
while nourishing his own essence  
The armour of persistence  
Is the resistance to settle
