Despite Your Rain
Never will I fade in the shadow of your abyss
Your condemnation, badly amiss
I will always shimmer through your rain
All that I am and will ever be
Not for you to diminish so blatantly
Your ignorance magnifies my ability to shine
The memory of you shall be interred
Your imagined power, mistakenly inferred
My illuminated soul will always radiate
