The Experiment

We're an experiment for aliens
and built with care and thought,
guinea pigs or broody hen
for the solution sought.

They are not here, as such
nor indeed are we,
in fact there's nothing very much
of things we think we see.

One could not begin to theorize
the reason or the data that we send,
but when it's done and summarized
the experiment will end...
