Do you remember the bear?
"Did you see the bear?"
Is what a college professor once asked
We'd watched a short film with images
And were instructed to focus on a ball
Some saw a lion and others saw a clown
But only a small handful saw the bear
I walk along with my sisters sometimes
Talking, chatting about anything... Everything
And we'd always ask each other "do you remember?"
We all try to shuffle through the memories
The mountains high enough to rival the blues
But sometimes only one of us remembers the bear
Is what a college professor once asked
We'd watched a short film with images
And were instructed to focus on a ball
Some saw a lion and others saw a clown
But only a small handful saw the bear
I walk along with my sisters sometimes
Talking, chatting about anything... Everything
And we'd always ask each other "do you remember?"
We all try to shuffle through the memories
The mountains high enough to rival the blues
But sometimes only one of us remembers the bear
