For years I left you
Now I've returned
For years I wept to you
So much you've learned
Delightful reports
I leave with you now
For the pain that once deafened
Has become less loud
Ever so often
I hear her soft voice
But I'm no longer alone
and for that I rejoice
Harsh wounds
no longer plague my wrists
For love watches over me
with a tender kiss
This world is still full
Of evil and despair
For those I've once loved
these goals they have shared
So of course my friends
There is always more to write
Whether beauty, disgust,
happiness or spite
For years I left you
and I should've known
Life would lead me right back
to my catharsis
My home
Now I've returned
For years I wept to you
So much you've learned
Delightful reports
I leave with you now
For the pain that once deafened
Has become less loud
Ever so often
I hear her soft voice
But I'm no longer alone
and for that I rejoice
Harsh wounds
no longer plague my wrists
For love watches over me
with a tender kiss
This world is still full
Of evil and despair
For those I've once loved
these goals they have shared
So of course my friends
There is always more to write
Whether beauty, disgust,

For years I left you
and I should've known
Life would lead me right back
to my catharsis
My home
